Entry fee: $100.00 for Open Division, Junior Angler Division (16 and under as of Friday, May 4, 2012) FREE with adult paid entry and $100.00 for Two Angler Team Division. Any refunds will be less tournament expenses. All entries must be received by 10:59 pm May 4, 2012. Each angler will receive one t-shirt and one meal ticket for Angler’s Social on Friday, May 4, 2012.
.)  ELIGIBLE SPECIES: This is a Redfish ONLY tournament. All fish will be measured by using the pinched tail method. Length must be between 18” and 27”. Only one fish per angler will be allowed.
.)  HOURS OF FISHING: May 5, 2012 – 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. No fishing prior to or after these times.
.)  COUNT-IN LOCATION: Counting and point tallying will begin at 2:00 pm and close at 5:00 pm. All entries must be in line prior to 5:00 pm. Tournament site is Flounder’s Chowder House on Pensacola Beach, FL.
.)  COUNT AND POINT METHOD: All fish will be given one point per spot and one point per inch. Spots that touch will be counted as one. Lengths will be rounded up at the half-inch mark and down if under. Total points = total spots + total length. (For example, a fish that is 19.75” with 9 spots will have 29 total points.)
.)  PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded for Open, Junior, and Two Angler Teams. The angler’s fish will only compete in the divisions in which the angler has entered. An angler will be allowed to enter as many divisions as they are eligible for. Only one prize per angler per division will be awarded, with the exception of the Two Angler Teams and bonuses. We guarantee all first place prizes, all junior prizes and all bonuses. Full payout is based on 30 entries per division.
.)  TWO ANGLER TEAMS: An angler will be allowed to be on as many teams as they would like to enter. Every entry requires a paid registration. Each team is only allowed to win one prize in this division, but an individual angler is allowed to win multiple times since they can be on more than one team. The two angler team points will be a combined total of each team member’s fish. If only one fish is entered, then that fish will be counted as the team total.
.)  BONUSES: Bonuses will be awarded in addition to Division prizes: Two Angler Team (TAT) Pinpoint Bonus to the first TAT to score exactly 57 points; Open Pinpoint Bonus to the first angler to score exactly 27 points; Lady Angler Bonus to the lady angler with the most points; and, Kayak Bonus to the angler with the most points fishing on a kayak (must be designated on entry form prior to start of tournament).
.)  MISCELLANEOUS: All fish must be caught by a rod and reel during tournament fishing hours. No mutilated, frozen or decaying fish will be accepted. Anglers may fish from land or water and will be allowed to transport their fish by land or water to the count. To be eligible for the Kayak bonus, however, you must fish from a kayak. In case of inclement weather, the tournament may be rescheduled. Five hours of fishing constitutes a tournament. All winners are subject to a polygraph. The torry meter will be used on all fish and a reading of less than eight may be disqualified. All leading fish will be tagged and held until the tournament is final. All ties will be broken by time(s) entered. The earliest time wins the tie.
.) ANGLER’S SOCIAL/AWARDS CERMONY: The Angler’s Social will be on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Flounder’s Beach at 6:00 pm. The Awards Ceremony will begin approximately one hour after the final redfish is counted.
